Plastic Surgery
The JOLLY MED clinic offers various procedures such as:

The procedure: The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia + general intravenous anaesthesia. Following the operation the patient stays 1-2 days at the Clinic. Drainage tubes are removed 2‑3 days post op. Sutures are removed 7 and 14 days post op. A special cheek support (a type of mask made of fabric) must be worn for at least 14 days after the procedure.On day 3 or 4 the patient is started on special ointments accelerating the resorption of haematomas. The haematomas undergo complete resorption within 2 to 3 weeks. Cheek massage is recommended 2 weeks post op. The final effect: about 4 weeks after the procedure.
The procedure: The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia. The patient need not stay at the clinic overnight. Sutures are removed 6 days after the procedure. On day 3 or 4 the patient is started on special ointments accelerating the resorption of haematomas. The haematomas undergo complete resorption within 2 to 3 weeks. Until then the patient should wear sunglasses.
The procedure: The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia. The patient need not stay at the clinic overnight. Fourteen days post op special rollers which were inserted during the operation (a kind of framework shaping the auricle) are removed. For at least 4 weeks, day and night, the patient must wear an individually selected headband protecting the ears from accidental injury.
The procedure: In the cartilaginous part of the nose:The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia + general intravenous anaesthesia. The patient stays at the clinic overnight. Two days after the operation packs (a type of internal dressing) are removed from the nasal canals. Seven days post op modelling plasters are removed. The patient is not allowed to lower his or her head or do hard physical work for 2 weeks.
In the bony part of the nose:
The procedure is performed under general endotracheal anaesthesia. The patient stays at the clinic for 1-2 days after the procedure. Two days after the operation packs (a type of internal dressing) are removed from the nasal canals. The plaster dressing and modelling plasters are removed 10 days after the surgery. The patient must use nose drops between day 3 and 10 post operation. The patient is not allowed to lower his or her head or do hard physical work for 2 weeks.

Drainage tubes are removed 2 days post op, while sutures 7 and 10 days post op. For at least 4 weeks the patient must wear a special individually selected bra.
The procedure: The procedure is performed under regional anaesthesia. The patient stays at the clinic for 1-2 days after the procedure. Right after the operation the patient puts on a special pressure suit to be worn for 4 weeks. Drainage tubes are removed on day 3 or 4 post op, while sutures in two goes: on day 7 and on day 14. Massage 14 days after the procedure.
The procedure: The procedure is performed under regional or general anaesthesia (depending on the region of the body operated on). The patient stays at the clinic overnight. Right after the procedure the patient is fitted with a special corset to be worn for a minimum of 4 weeks, day and night, removing it only to wash. Sutures are removed 7 days after the procedure. On day 3 post op the patient is started on ointments accelerating the resorption of haematomas. For the first 7 days following the operation the patient should be taking anticoagulants (acetylsalicylic acid based preparations) in order to prevent thromboembolic complications. Massage 3 weeks after the operation.
